Fees and Payment Procedures

The total cost of organising an elective programme will be calculated based on the the following fee structure and depending on the duration  your programme last. Hospital fee: USD 75 per week; Accomodation: USD 15 per day; plus Application fee (our commission) and airport transfers (pickup/drop off) of USD 30. The table below gives a summarised figures for 1 - 8 weeks programmes. For a programme that last more than eight weeks, we will charge USD 400 as the application and organisation fee in addition to hospital fee and accomodation based on the stated prices.

Note: The dental clinic may require additional fee to buy reagents. This will be determined during the time of application.

Costs of oraganising camp outreach (optional)
1 day outreach with mobile clinic in Unguja is USD 20. The costs do not cover food, transport for personal trips and your other private expenses.

3 days camp outreach in Pemba costs USD 350, covering a flight ticket to and fro Pemba, transport in Pemba, accommodation, meals and supervision.

All outreach are organised by Zanzibar Outreach Programme (ZOP) and are subject to ZOP terms and conditions (see application form).

Payment procedures

The application fee, hospital fee, airport transfers (pickup/drop-off) and USD 100 deposit for accomodation need to be paid within 30 days of issuing an admission letter. Bank and Account details for the money transfer will be provided at the time you are supposed to pay fees. For cancellation or ammendments of your programme, refer to Terms and Conditions.
